Surprise Party

Shhh... Scott still doesn't know this blog exists (heh, heh) but I thought I would post pictures of his surprise party on Friday. His actual birthday is October 9th, and that's when he will be informed about this blog. SO, for those of you who haven't posted yet, there is still time. Until then... here are the party pictures!
Surprise! Scott was totally taken off guard. He said I really got him. It was great.

The Beems

Scott,
So many nice comments and photos here, so I was actually trying to dig up a picture of when you worked for me at McDonald's in the early 90's!Really, the aging thing is not half bad, and much better than the alternative! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Scott! Hope you were surprised (isn't your wife awesome)! We wish we could be there to celebrate this day with you, but we will be thinking of you and all the fun we will be missing. I found this picture and actually ripped it out of my scrapbook and scanned it in your honor...I think this is the first time you met Kari. Wow, seems like ages ago. GOOD TIMES!!! We are so blessed to have you both as our friends and truly treasure your friendship. Hopefully we will get to see you guys on our next temple trip or your next trip up north. Love your friends, The Ellsworths

Kris & Rowland in UT

Scott,

Happy Birthday. Of the many memories I have of you and your family, three stand out. First is the General Conference of 10-2006 when you guys came to our house and watched the afternoon session with us. Second, is you and Patrick coming home teaching so many times. It was always great to have you in our home. Third, is actually a combination of many individual events. I can't count the number of times I stayed after Kari and I finsished our Primary Presidency meetings and I just hung out with you two, talking and laughing and watching tv. Thanks for being such a positive influence on me and my family. We miss you and we hope that you have an amazing birthday.

Love,

Kris and Rowland

Here are some pictures Kris sent with her message of our family spending time with theirs. Thanks for the message, and we miss you guys here!

Kenny in CT

Happy Birthday Scott! We sure miss you and your family out here in CT. It’s hard to believe that it was 4 years ago that we went on a morning jog to a local elementary school to cast our vote in the 2004 presidential election (I’ll maintain political neutrality on this blog by not indicating for whom we voted! J ). But sincerely, I miss those early mornings trying to keep up with you and I haven’t had a faithful running partner since you moved out of town. Anyway, have a great one and keep in touch!

I dug up this picture of Kenny (and his family) from back in our CT days. Thanks, Kenny!

Kent F. (friend from GE)

Scott,
It's been a while good buddy. What is this, you're 40th birthday? I like to imagine it is since you're probably at least that much more mature than I am (you've got about 15 kids by now right?). I apologize for not being able to attend in person, but you know how GE is, always extracting their pound of flesh. Anyways, I wanted to wish you the best for your birthday with the hopes that we can get together and catch up soon. Have fun and enjoy the party.

Best Regards,

Kent

Surprise Blog

Heh, Heh, Heh... I have created this super-secret blog to surprise Scott for his 32nd birthday (party on September 26th). As friends and family send in their birthday wishes they will be posted here. Shhhhh... don't tell.
