Kathleen R. in AZ

So, what can I say about Scott. I'm not very good with words but I'll give it a try. I have tried to narrow down one memory and I just can't do it. So many things come to mind. You were such a good friend when we were growing up. I knew I could always talk to you about anything. We had so much fun on temple trips and camping trips and hanging out with our friends, watching fireworks together and going to movies. I remember being excited for you when you went on a mission. And even more excited for you when you got married. I was sad when you moved away and happy when you moved back. Relationships between a guy and a girl change when each person gets married and has a family but just seeing you at church with your family every Sunday was a comforting feeling for me. Sure, we didn't hang out as much but I know if my family ever needed anything, you were only a phone call away, or if you ever needed anything we were close by too.

I will forever be thankful for the 'field trip' around your bank with Luke for his scouting electives and the time you brought all the young men over to rake my yard after Kevin went away. I'm a little sad I never got to be around when you became the Bishop but I bet you are doing an amazing job.

So, Happy Birthday! And thanks for being such a great friend.

~Kathleen
